Wow!! those bucks are crazy big. Good luck.
I just checked my cameras I set in Iowa three weeks ago.Four little dinks is all I could get pictures of . Hope things improve when crops come off.
I've been after the bigger deer for the past two seasons. We got about 40 pictures of him since 8/16/16. I have counted 21 distinguishable points on him, and with the velvet I may be missing a few. We get pics of him up until about a week before bow season and then nobody sees him the rest of the season. We have sheds off of the smaller deer for the past 7 years. He is starting to go downhill some. His best year was about 2 years ago.
I'm pretty sure he is staying in an area that was logged a few years ago. They left some younger oaks standing and the brush piled up. There are some honey suckle thickets and briar thickets. It is about half a mile from this camera site. Unfortunately, we can't hunt it......yet. the property owner let's us hunt about 40 acres. My dad has been mowing the fields all summer and helping out in preparation of asking for permission.
Wow those are some dandies. That's for sure! You have sheds off the one for 7years!?! Do people not Hunt in Ohio? We are lucky to have deer reach 4 years old here in PA...
