Changes to Wyoming application process

I heard a rumor that Wyoming might starting making folks purchase a hunting license prior to applying for limited tags or preference points. Anyone know if this is true or not? If so, I might be burning my points sooner than later.

I have heard no such thing and it was not discussed as a part of the upcoming attempt to have the Legislature raise all fees in 2014.

I hope not. I dont need a license for a place I'm not hunting.

I just applied.
The tag itself is called a "License", and must be paid for in full at the time of application. All but $14, and the preference point fee is refunded if you don't draw the tag.
