Wind was blowing pretty good this morning so I decided to get down into some cedar draws and try and get lucky calling a cat in. About 20 minutes into the stand a magpie flew up out of the cedars and sat on top of a cedar making a lot of noise so I figured something was sneaking in. Glassing the cedars I caught movement but couldn’t make out what it was. The way it was creeping around I figured it was a cat. Took another 10 minutes for it to finally creep out from behind the cedar. Wasn’t the cat like I was hoping. Just an odd acting female coyote.
