Anyone experienced excessive carbon buildup with RL-26?

Getting amazing speed with Hammers in three different rifles, but all three show terrible carbon fouling after just one range session.

Maybe this is a Hammer thing?

Is it carbon fouling or an incomplete burn? Maybe it’s just a short and curly too slow?

But yes, haven’t seen it in my rifle but my can was god awful disgusting after a long test run of R26. Small price to pay though for the results.

Not that I’ve noticed, always seems to take about the same number of brush strokes and patches. I’ll be happy again when 26 is available and I can experiment some more.

Haven’t tried RL26 but I have a load with RL23 and hammers that looks like a smoke pole and need to run a bore snake down it every 15-20 shots to keep tight groups. Haven’t tried it with any other bullet so I can’t say whether it’s the powder or the combination. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I have not noticed any excessive carbon with RL 26 behind Hammers but I love the results! I clean my barrels pretty regularly.
