I am back from five days of travels, so I apologize for the delay in getting this link up on the site. Like many who are struck by Aaron's death, I wanted to do something for his family.

Below is a link where you can make a donation and leave a note as you please. We are starting this with a $200 donation from Hunt Talk. There are small transaction fees related to web donations. We will cover all those fees, to make sure you donations get to Aaron's family.

To all who have served and are serving, we owe you a huge debt of gratitude. To those families, such as the Blanchard family, we owe more than we can every repay.

Anyone making a donation to Aaron's family has my sincere appreciation. Thank you in advance for your generosity and concern.

Done, thank you Aaron for your service to our country and our elk (if you haven't read some of his critiques of the management of the Colockum herd in WA, I'd recommended it).

I sometimes can't believe how fragile this life can be. I remember him posting about some new gear he was going to get when he got back.
Wish I could do more than just send some money. My prayers are with his wife and kids.
Thanks Randy for allowing us to contribute

My donation, Buy these 10X42 binos for $150 but send the money to the donation Randy set up and they will be sent out to you. Not Swaro's of course, but a great pair of back up or truck binos to beat up for those who already have a pair of high end bins. Anyone interested?? Post a quote if you claim them as yours so I know they are taken..

I''ll take them schmalts.

Done. Last I heard, elk season runs year round in heaven, so he probably has that 6x6 down by now.

Godspeed, Brother.

Yes Sir! I believe Aaron and Dan Drazan have met up and become great hunting buddies up there. The critters are in trouble up there now:) Thank you both for your great service to us all while you were here.

Well guys, you are a generous bunch. I am going to close down the donation link, since it has been a week since the last donation. Wanted to let you know that $1,300 in donations came in from Hunt Talkers. I will be sending a check to the family tomorrow, with the notes some of you added to your donations.

Thanks for all you guys have done.

Give it a day for us preoccupied numbheads.. I had to squeeze in a last second donation. :)

Mailed a check today, for $1,320 to Captain Blanchards Memorial Fund. Thanks guys. Greatly appreciated.
