Caitlin Clark finally

I would not invest in the WNBA product at this time.
Here’s why I would do it. While a large percentage of males are doubling down on “Bro culture”, with the support of their older ages influencers, women are taking over in the stuff that matters.

That only shows bachelor's degrees, and not of the other many careers. I don't think the graph shows stuff that matters, but feel free to say why you think it does.

That post makes zero sense. I think the graph matters. You say you disagree and then ask me to list what matters. WTF. Please say what you think matters. You’re the one with the opposing opinion.

The WNBA, to my knowledge, is still operating at a loss yearly (despite being significantly financially assisted by the NBA).

I would probably invest in the WNBA.

It's the best time to buy if you think the PE will flip in the future. I suspect it probably will.

for fun, here is what ChatGPT says:

🧩 Final verdict

If the WNBA were a stock:
  • I’d allocate a small % of a portfolio
  • Treat it like a venture-style bet on sports media growth
  • Be prepared for volatility and a long hold

anyway, you guys can get back to whatever this thread turned into

That post makes zero sense.
You're talking about your graph right? You said "women are taking over in the stuff that matters."

How did you come to that conclusion since like I said, there are lots of careers not listed on your graph?

For goodness sake you are horrible at this. Just because you disagree with the chart doesn't require me to defend the chart. The chart is self explanatory. If you want to give a list of jobs you thing are critical and not listed we can discuss. I might even agree with you.

The jobs on the chart are professional careers that require a college education which you can see are now predominantly female. Healthcare is about 20% of GDP - over 50% in nurses, doctors, dentist. These are higher paying jobs in our economy. The ones they are not are changing fast - computer science is being replaced by AI at an exponential rate. I recently judged an engineering event for MS and HS students and noticed that probably 75% of the teams were female.

Women are taking a leading role in the world and getting stuff done and I'm all for it. So investing in a WNBA team might have strong tailwind that many of us male troglodytes don't see.
