I've had some bad experiences over the years being shorted by butchers or getting meat that probably wasn't mine. I get nervous when I show up somewhere and there's 40 other animals laying on the floor in front of mine which usually shows up clean and quartered.

Had a few good experiences too but the good ones are far from home.

I'd guess that your meat went home with someone else

That's what I am thinking. He has my meat now and is going to go through it. He is convinced that something has been mislabeled. I'll just have to see what he comes back with.
