Glad he got a somewhat stiff sentence but confused why Idaho was the one to charge him when he broke the law in Montana first and stole Montana’s resource.

Wait so it was roadkill in MT? How is picking up roadkill a stiffer penalty than most poaching cases lol. Seems weird to classify a dead head as a “resource”

Don’t get me wrong it’s stupid but the penalty isn’t making sense if it was roadkill.

He got a stiffer penalty than a poacher usually gets. This is ridiculous...people shoot an elk/deer/antelope/whatever and leave it lay salvaging none of it and get off way easier than this goober. Not saying he wasn't in the wrong cause he was but I don't feel the penalty is fitting of the crime based on other wildlife cases.
