Not to derail this thread, but if you substitute biscuit dough for the burger and stuff with cooked breakfast ingredients and cheese then bake until the biscuit is done, you have one heck of a breakfast sandwich that eats incredibly well behind the wheel.

Do any of you burger gurus use one of those hamburger patty shapers? I am apparently unable to make a uniform patty and am thinking I need one. I’m absolutely not much of a cook but am getting better and one day aspire to post a pic of some grub I’ve made. Lol.
It may be sacrilegious to a true burger maestro to use one???

I have one from LEM. I really don't use it that much. If I am having a cook out with several people I break it out.

Also I never add fat for wild game burger only pork fat for sausage.
