the non typical i chased for three years. i kind of miss chasing him.some times seccess can be regretable. he is nice on my wall but i miss seeing him threw my spotting scope all summer.
it was his time though he was much taller the year befor. i have vidio of him in 99 and he was all in velvet and stunning.
In 98 he ran with the 98 buck and everyone asked how i could be bummed after taking him.
i told them they should have seen the one that ran with him.
"shovel handle" as we call him still, was also the first deer my son Moseley ever releast a arrow at.
the 98 heartshot buck we called "the tall one"
I'd have to say "there will never be a buck with as fond of memorys as shovel handle"
