Bubbling Leupold Windage Turret

Put my 15 year old Leupold VX1 on my new Vanguard a couple weeks ago. While making some adjustments some fluid bubbled out of the windage turret. My handloads didn't perform very well that day, and the new batch I tested today were god awful. Not sure if the bubbling fluid indicates there's a problem with the scope or if the rifle just really hates Hornady Interlocks. Contacted Leupold but they just said to mail the scope in. Any thoughts?

Sounds like a seal in the turret is bad, leaking nitrogen.

Seems like the most likely scenario. Not sure if that affects accuracy or not.

It does not affect accuracy but when it’s all out it’s going to fog up.
Nitrogen is just a gas with no moisture to fog up a optic.
