Hey fellow hunters,
First post! My hunting partner and I are relatively new to hunting (in our 3rd season) and are finally starting to turn past mistakes into successful hunts... Pictured below is a bull we harvested last week. This was the product of being in the right place at the right time... What an amazing experience! We've also harvested a 4 point muley and a white-tail doe. Not a bad start to the season for a couple of newbies!
We're part of a number of forums and are excited to get involved in HuntTalk! So much to learn in this sport... Thanks for having us.

Thanks for all of the great feedback. It's been a really rewarding season and we still have some hunts to look forward to. I'm not sure if links are allowed in this forum, but we do have a podcast that documents our journeys as new hunters called The Rookie Hunter. You can find it on iTunes and other podcast apps if you're interested. The show is not sponsored, so hopefully I'm not breaking any forum rules ;) We do it for a love of this sport and hope others can learn from our mistakes. The last 3 episodes go over our successful hunts in detail.
Thanks again for all of the comments and good luck out there!!
