Quick question about gear; if I'm shooting a traditional bow can I shoot off the shelf or do I need a rest as well?

Yes, He and his wife are the owners of AMS.

I haven't had the time to get out and bowfish the last couple of years... but with my 9 year old daughter interested in archery, I've been bugging Jeff to take us this year.

He has a 10 year old daughter that was suppose to go with them the night they shot this one, but backed out at the last minute.

I know I'm going to get addicted again if/when he takes us... but I'm hoping my daughter does too..!!

Yes - I used a traditional for years, and shot off the shelf with no issues.
