Well, the time has come to pull the boat out of the shop and get things ready to go. Thought about it last weekend, but it snowed about four inches. Weatherman knew what I had in mind.

Anyhow, got to lookin' at some old walleye pics this evening that I just had burned from film to disc. Now I can share them.

Enough to make a guy hungry.

Season opens in a little over four weeks and counting...

Even if the rivers high, I'm heading out in the canoe...

Great pics! I'm no walley fisherman, but I think they're the best eating freshwater fish I've had.

I've tried jigs, lures, but I still catch most on a worm.

Here's a week ago saturday's result of 4 lines in the water for about 2 hours. We caught a pig of a carp that about took the kid waterskiiing.
