New legislation introduced in the MN legislature...remember the mine needs state permits...including a bill I thought was savvy...banning any mining company who has a history of environmental regulation violations from doing business in the state. (Chilean company Antofagasta has a long history of violations...see https://www.savetheboundarywaters.o...ean-mining-giant-rushing-ruin-boundary-waters).

And the state has a narrow split in the legislature. All signs and polls show Dems taking over next fall.
