For any place they can get links embedded and clicks/accounts come from those embedded links. There are groups in Russia, China, the Mideast, and SE Asia that have such as their business model.

If someone looks even the slightest bit suspicious, they are denied registration and placed in a que to be approved. I pretty much reject everyone of them.

I know we lose some legit users with that policy. I’m not too worried about that. I’ve got it cinched down as tight as I can to keep it cleaner, even though some still get through.
