Boat Buying Season?

I have nothing to add other than boat envy. My 16' Alumacraft with a 50hp Yamaha tiller does everything I need it to but always looking at upgrades or modifications (thinking Drotto and trailer steps this spring). It's nice to have friends with bigger boats for those big water trips.

I looked for months to find this one , they go fast . One I wanted sold in three days . Lots of boats for sale down here , but most of them are old boat club boats , really have to be careful.

As a newly repatriated Minnesotan, I am looking for a boat. Maybe your used one. The sort of benchmark bar that I have in mind is more or less a Lund Fury, with a 25 horse Yamaha, Suzuki, or Mercury motor in that order. For those that know, it is going to be a Basswood boat. Hence, the horsepower limit.

There’s a good looking Lund Angler with an older Yamaha on it for sale in prairie du chien. Might be what you’re looking for for. Do you want me to take a look to see what they want for it?

Thanks, but i'm pretty sure that's too big. 25 hp is max. I think the angler is pretty heavy for a twenty five horse
