Boar or Sow? Shooter?

Just checked a camera today and got a few bear pics. What do you guys think, boar or sow?? Would you punch your tag?

Yes! My guess is it's a boar. I'd know when I turned it over. Good huntin'

Hard to tell but I'd guess maybe a low 5's young boar. I have a hard time telling between mature sows and young boars sometimes.

I'd say that bear is 4 1/2 to 5', maybe a 3 year old. Hard to say, on gender buy I'd guess sow because of the narrow head. If your looking for a good eating bear this would be it. For a wall hanger? No.

Well thanks for guessing guys. I think Shoots Straight wins based on the fact this little guy was right on her heals....


SIze wise I would probably shoot but not with the little guy in tow.

If I saw the cub with it, I wouldn't shoot. No cub, I'm shooting! I've yet to kill a black bear and want one in the worst way...
