blueing ?

What can I use to touchup the blueing on a Remington 7600. It is almost a gloss black.

Does the 44/40 gun blue give any darker finish than some of the others ?

Just ordered 4 different kinds of gun blue,going to try them all and see what works for me.

I believe the deep gloss black looking blueing is acheived by several coats with polishing in between. mtmuley

2nd that. the more coats you apply the darker it will be. buffing after it dries completely will give it that dark mirror sheen
