Took two of my boys (the third didn't want to wake up) and my dad to the bluegill pond for some action on Friday morning. We spent a few hours and caught enough that the fun was starting to wear off, but before we left I wanted to give a cast or two to the creek behind the pond. The creek dumps into a large reservoir so I figured there may be a lunker or two to be found. Sure enough on my second or third cast I hooked into a nice rainbow. @Big Sky 's secret is out--those marabou jigs are great to fish with.
