Bloody small minded antis!

Apart from an ‘anti’ giving me a hard time on the interweb years ago I haven’t been affected by their actions, until recently that is.

One of the farms I shoot over is pickled in Fallow deer, I found the perfect spot to erect a 2 man high seat, it’s a long way from the road and out of sight on private land.
I put it up on the Wednesday, on the Saturday the farmer rang me to say it was in the stream.
Luckily it wasn’t damaged, and as quickly as it was thrown in the stream it was back out and up, just a tractor and chains required.
Put my camera up for 2 weeks just in case they returned, they haven’t, but no doubt they will.


Back up again!

That’s unfortunate that someone is trying to ruin your hunting and your tree stand. There is definitely no shortage of assholes in this world and some people will stop at nothing to destroy Property if it doesn’t fit their agenda or beliefs. We have witnessed plenty of that in the USA this year. Hopefully you are left alone and can get after those fallow deer.

I always attribute these things to drunk teenagers. I suppose the intelligence level is the same between drunk teenagers and antihunters.

Sorry to hear that some people can't leave your stand alone. I would definitely give that seat a good inspection before hopping up on it. Who knows what they may do to it next.

Sorry about that. The one run-in I've had with anti-hunters was too funny to get angry at. I was duck hunting in a swamp, off a big lake, with a few cottages along the shore, about 200-300 yards away. After I shot at a duck, this older woman came down to her dock, up the lake a bit and every time ducks would begin to fly into the bay, she'd clear her throat really loudly, go into a coughing fit and move around a bit, trying to scare them away. It was really quite comical.

What a shame that someone would take your personal property and try to damage it. People have NO RESPECT for others and that is what is happening to the world.

That stinks. Hope the situation is resolved for good. Talking about properties pickled in fallow deer gives me a yearning for a trans-Atlantic flight...
