Last night my wife and I were sitting on the porch watching a doe mulie with twin fawns. The deer bolted suddenly, so we looked around to see why. A few hundred yards off the porch was a sow black bear with twin cubs up a tree. The cubs climbed down and my wife took this video through the spotting scope (we couldn't find our phoneskope, so it's a bit shaky).
The bear eventually rounded up her cubs and took off for the canyon when a coyote came within about 50 yards of them. (I think the coyote got lucky that the sow decided to take off...I don't think it would have fared well.)
Definitely one of the better nights of wildlife viewing here in SE Wyoming!!
