Binoc's

I'm shopping for a new pair of binoculars. Right now, considering the Leupold Wind River, 8X42 roof prism. Any comments on them, or others in that 200-300.00 range?

I have their compact 10 x something. They work pretty good for the price.

But when I compared them agaist a Leica 12 x 42? big diference. Also more than a grand diference.

But I am going to be using my Wind River this hunting season.

I got a pair of Nikon 8X40 ATB binos last year and I'm very happy with them so far. Price is about $275 through Bear basion

I would consider the minox brand, they are awsome. The best bino Ive ever found for the money. They are made by Leica.
