Is that a spear head in that fish?

Give us the lowdown on how this kind of ice fishing goes down please.

Fresh water sturgeon? We have white sturgeon out here but sadly their numbers are so low we lost our season. Sure miss sturgeon sticks!

So I assume travel pathways are located and a lure is used to pull the fish into striking distance?

How is a sturgeon lured into harms way? Using smell as well as visual temptation?

Decoys for the most part. It's described as the most boring thing in the world that can turn into mayhem in seconds. Some describe it as watching a TV that is not turned on. I have yet to try it. I have been fishing while it's going on and sat in the shack with a buddy for a while to warm up during a break but it's just to boring for me with that ADD thing and all
