Best time of year for big rams?

Redneck Reese,

I'm no guru but I'll give an opinion. Ca Hunter is right in the winter their coat may be a little better but. I think the summer is the best time. Here's why people who raise them don't want to feed them in the summer when the grass get burned up by the sun, so they sell them. This increases the supply to the ranches where they are hunted. Hunters are not used to hunting in the summer, so this decreases the demand. Low demand and high supply means a guy or gal who hunts them in the summer is going to have some big rams to get. I think there are plenty with good coats and beards then.
