Remember, if you hear those welfare ranchers whining about not making any money, it's because all they ever do is whine about everything!

"Americans are facing record high prices for everything from T-bones to brisket -- prices rose 18% in October alone -- and those prices will stay at, well, rare highs for another two years, the Agriculture Department says."

It is kind of the "The Perfect Storm" for the Cow/Calf operator. Anybody who can't get all their bills paid in this market should be out of business. Hay prices are low, and Beef prices are high. It can't get any simpler than that....

But..... as usual, we have the Welfare Rancher whining and crying, can't even make it in the perfect market. I talked to one from Northern Nevada that was mad at the BLM. Seems that the BLM made him pull his cows on August 1, as the range condition was decimated due to the cattle and the lack of rain.

He was afraid he couldn't make it, having to feed hay for 7 months. He can't afford to buy the hay.

Let's all pull for the weak sisters to finally get ran out of the business, and allow the little bit of feed on Public Lands to go to the Wildlife owned by the Public.

I am are for removing the welfare ______, as long as you also remove all the gov't employees and gov't spending that goes with them.

Idaho ranchers cash in on cattle-market boom

LEWISTON — The ban on Canadian imports and a decade-long price slump that forced many small operators out of business has created a boom in the cattle market, and Idaho ranchers are cashing in.
Leah Clark, Idaho Beef Council director, says prices have increased 20 percent in just the past six weeks and are likely to remain high for the near future.

Calf prices averaged $1.05 a pound statewide this fall, 21 cents higher than a year ago, according to the monthly survey by the state Department of Agriculture, and steers averaged 87 cents a pound, 22 cents higher than a year earlier. Some local markets were even higher.

Alright!!!!
Then we agree... get rid of all the welfare bs and get rid of all those govt programs and employees too.
