Bedding: pillar of glass or both?

Just though I'd add. My favorite bedding compound is liquid steel. Used Accu Bed years ago and worked really good. Tried Accu glass one time and the stuff was just was to runny, never tried it again but heard it now is a gel.

Compounds I use and why.
Devcon in old stocks that may have impregnated oil.
Marine Tex on fiber glass/Kevlar
If I need the bedding to completely blend with a high grade stock or a visible repair is being done I use ACRA glass.

I’ve never done it myself but every rifle I’ve had built or had rebarreled I’ve had the gun smith do both.
