Tried to start this thread a bit ago and it never showed up so here goes, again.
Drew Unit 8 AZ archery Elk with 12 BP.
Did one short scout trip over the 4th of July and going back down (from Colo) for 5 days of scouting Aug. 10-15.
Have all the maps and aerial photos and starting to know the unit fairly well (on paper). Will have the whole season to hunt and (hopefully) make the most of this opportunity.
Any previous Unit 8 hunters with suggestions for areas to check out and otherwise make the most of this mid August scout trip, please drop me a note at
