It's big country with not a lot of deer per square mile. Do your homework and you'll be just fine up there.

Killed my Lion in the strip....little snow and a lot of effort....killed on day 9 of a 7 day hunt---yeah, I know outfitter and guide....in all our travels, we saw one Ewe sheep, no elk, buncha burros and one group of Muleys...hope it is better now....good luck! We did see Condors!!

If you were seeing sheep and burros, you were a ways from the prime muley country.
