AZ desert bighorn app

Hi guys,

I am thinking of applying for AZ desert bighorn, and I'm wondering what the odds of actually drawing this tag are? I've got 1 point for Rocky MT bighorn in CO, but I'm looking to expand my odds. Is it worth it? I'm 27, btw.

The odds will be miniscule, as they are for just about any sheep draw for a non-resident. But someone has to draw. Only you can calculate the ROI and decide whether it is worth it to you. I submitted 9 sheep applications and entered several raffles this year, but I have little expectation of ever drawing a license. It is worth it to me to keep trying, though. Good luck.

In my opinion, you're still young enough to get into the game that even if it takes 25 years to draw somewhere you'd still be young enough to be able to handle doing the hunt.

The one thing to remember is that if you don't apply you never draw.

In 2006 I drew a Tule Elk Bull tag for which there was only 1 tag issued.
