Can anyboby give me info on axial basin in unit 211 in Co.
I am hunting the third season for Elk.

There used to be a lot of elk, a lot of private land, and a TON of hunting pressure. The elk head for the private once the shooting starts, BUT a lot of the private is hunted as well. Find a good funnel area and set up shop and wait em out.

It will be a sea of orange on public land. If you have access to private, you will do ok. As Bambi said, the elk might get pushed off the private occasionally, but you could be sitting there several days waiting. Somebody will kill elk....might as well be you.
