I’m old. 60.
Someone with more IT (younger) should ask the favorite knife for each decade. I have a tiny old timer and a bigger buck. Still sharp after almost 50 years of gutting and skinning.

I turn 75 next month. Recently, I told my wife that there is no way to spin 75, other than your'e old.

As far as hanging it up, it is year by year. I intend to hunt elk again this year. I put in for moose and bighorn sheep tags.

I exercise diligently to hold onto what is left. I hope to be able to swing a leg over a horse at 80, if I make it that far. Right now, it is not a problem.

Life goes by pretty quickly. Certainly there are a lot of years, when you are past your prime. If you keep you waistline under control, and exercise, it's possible to stay in the game. It can't be like when you were 30, but it beats the hell out of giving it up.

Saw a recent video where they said the majority of hunters are about to turnover…. And by that I mean die. This is not even close to what I have witnessed in the field. In my neck of the woods I would say hunting and outdoors are as popular as ever. Especially with the young crowd. More young than old hunting.

😉
