Auspicious hunt start

Wow that’s great swaro is doing that. Disappointing about Hoyt. Lucky you found used limbs though.

Great looking bulls

Why did Hoyt deny warranty on the limbs?
Said by the photo they thought i banged limb on something. I know limbs were looking clean before it cracked at full draw. Maybe they are right but F them anyway. I expect used limbs to perform. If not I have a backup with a solid kill record. LOL

Glad you got past the speed bump. Looking forward to this just being the start of an epic hunting adventure and story. Good luck!

very happy with my new to me limbs for my bow.

Especially happy with Marvin Meyers who owns/operates Stick and String archery shop in Grand Junction.

He received the limbs from the Virginia guy that sent them to me. Installed them and spent all the time needed to get my bow tuned and my broadheads and field points are hitting the exact same spot at 20 and 30 yards. Everything is looking great.

I recommend him to anybody in Western Colorado that needs a bow or bow work. And he was extremely reasonable on price so I had to pay him more than he asked to make sure he understood I appreciated all he did for me in the last week.

I am lucky for being unlucky.

Swaro is Fedexing a loaner eyepiece e to use on my hunts till warranty fixes/replaces the busted one.

Found a guy on RS who is shipping identical used limbs for my bow for $127 including $47 for overnight delivery. Hoyt refused to to warrantee a free replacement and wanted $250 plus shipping PLUS a 2 week wait at least to send.

So Bow should be back in action and tuned by this Friday and the swaro the same.

I can be back in this Utah country Monday taking photos like these I took while hunting the weekend as I shop for a big bull.

Great looking bulls, and good luck. Your experience with Swaro is what led us to them vs. Zeiss or Leica. The Scheels guy recounted similar stories about folks dropping stuff and getting replacements overnight. I heard things stuttered over the last few years (covid) as everything did, but glad to hear they're back.
