Ok, not a great picture of my doe this morning but this is meant to show where she died next to where I was sitting. Shot her at about 30 feet and then she proceeded to collapse her front legs and drive with her hind legs. Still sitting at the base of my tree, I had to raise my muzzle loader over my head while she drove herself over my legs stopping 5 feet away where she died. Sure am glad it wasn't a buck!

Two ND deer that I had a hand in. First one was shot in the wrong half by someone in our group. I tried cutting it off around a small knob and learned a deer on three legs shouldn’t be underestimated. Caught it going up a steep ridge that slowed it. I shot and it slid down the hill. Then when we found it, we realized it went farther down than we thought, down a small sink hole/washout about 8’ deep.

Second deer is the one I tagged. Heart shot, made a 20yard dash and slid into a much shallower hole. Both deer were found within about 200 yards of each other.
