Armored backpacks

I'm 53 years old and I NEVER thought that I would see a day, in this country, when we send our kids to a school with an armored backpack. What has become of this society?

i can see it now,first round hits bacckpack,child drops backpack because bullet hits backpack at say 900 pounds of fource,next bullet does what it is intended to do by nutjob.
what ever gets hit by the round takes the force of round,enough said.:W:
