Well I had asked a while back about some states to hunt outside of my home state. Jan 2019 I will be headed to Arkansas for a short 3 day hunt, hoping for a great trip and stuff isn't frozen up. Can't wait lol

Ducks, I have done the snow goose thing in the pass. That is a blast and a soar shoulder if timed right.

What part of the state are you hunting? Just curious.
This last season was weird. We were dry until late December then we got a lot of rain and it froze about a week later. Froze hard. But there were good periods mixed in there and if you hunt private ground they'll nearly always have water. Good luck!
