Arizona - OTC mule deer. How does it work?

If I'm able to purchase an AZ NR OTC mule deer license, how exactly does that work? Am I free to hunt in any of the WMUs or am I restricted to certain ones? Thanks.

Short answer, it is unit restricted. You can't hunt the strip with an OTC tag..

You ain't purchasing one for this year, they are sold out. But, the have a list of units and the dates which they are open. Now, once a unit hits a certain % of kills, they will close. The best OTC units it happens in the first week of the season in August

It will be for next year. From what I gather, you need to jump on a license the morning that they become available; that they go very quickly.
