Can someone tell me when the application opens for the draw in Arizona for Javalina hunting,thought the draw opens in October,another guy told me draw opens this month.

I love hunting javelina in AZ. I need to get better at cooking them. I’m used to wild boar and my javelinas just taste gamier. Next time more peppers and onions in the slow cooker, I think….. But dang I miss hunting them. Best of luck to you!

Fall draw is a good time time to pick up an extra bonus point, youth hunts slated for the fall & Jan. Best advise is to get the hide off of them soonest possible & let them cool down. Straps are great on the BBQ with KC style sauce.

There is no definitive draw app opening date but generally it is around mid September. The draw app deadline is the 2nd Tuesday in October, Oct 10th this year.

As mentioned, pick up a bonus point in the current draw to increase your odds on the unit you want.
