Arizona Elk & pronghorn

So..if there’s a tag number in your account next to pending does that you’ve drawn? I put my whole family in separate apps for AZ elk and got a credit card hit last week..but I have no idea who drew. My wife is the only one that has a tag number next to the “pending” in her account..so I’m guessing she drew.

That would make sense.

No tag number for me. My dad and cousin applied as a party and got tags 34 and 35 for whichever hunt they drew.

I think so. I have a tag number next to mine as well, but it still says “pending”

My fate is sealed. I drew my second choice, which, after I had already submitted, grew to become my preferred choice. I am soaking this in. By AZ standards, not the pinnacle tag, but it's a great tag nonetheless - better than any I have ever had - and I had little reason to expect to draw. I'll be chasing bulls in a high density herd in September, with legitimate potential for anything. I don't need honeyholes, camping advice, or secrets of any kind. I could eventually use some and might reach out for encouragement from more experienced big bull killers on how a once-a-year guy driving 2300 miles from home to AZ elk heaven solo DIY can stay focused amidst chaos and learn to be patient, and hopefully kill something worthy and representative, if not big. For now, YouTube videos, OnX binges, and daydreaming of the day will hopefully prepare my mind. For those who have done this before - you remember this feeling. For those like me who drew AZ for the 1st time - I hope your adrenaline and goosebumps are like mine. Hope to see some of you out there! For those yet to draw, keep hammering despite the odds, your time will hopefully come soon too. 😀

I’m over the moon!
Drew my first choice.
Early archery, unit 9.

Dream come true.
Bugling bulls on the Kaibab.

Currently doing my rain dance and contemplating my arrow setup.

It was my 6th year applying.
Congrats. Drawing a tag like that unexpectedly is a pretty awesome feeling.

You took my random tag! Congrats and good luck
