Arizona clarification

Not sure I'm reading this right because it seems like a given that you would need a hunting license for the year you actually planned to hunt.

"To purchase a bonus point, you must have
previously purchased a hunting license or apply
for a hunting license through the draw for
the year in which the hunt will take place."

Can I simply buy a bonus point without purchasing a license every year?

Thank ya. That is a terrible explanation by NM. If I'm only buying a bonus point then there isn't going to be a "hunt". They would be much better off using your explanation.

Yeah yeah. I'm starting to loose track. I spent all day trying to figure out what states I want to start building up points for. They're all running together. I think I'm even more confused now than when I started.
