Appalachian fly fishing

Been a lot of years since I've last fly fished. Had some time off while I was in Virginia so I took advantage of the opportunity. Had a lot of fun catching these Native Brook Trout. This'll help the waterfowl off-season go by better.

Awesome. I live in Bristol but I haven't fished the mountains lately, worried about water temps.

I'm a complete rookie at this so take what I say FWIW. 2 of us caught 32 Brook Trout on the day. By my standards (Florida) water temp. was cold.

You're speaking my language. Give me a couple miles of some mountain stream no one's ever heard of, my 2 weight and bunch of little native trout...
