Any experience on public lands in Nebraska's Upper Platte and Plains regions?

Hey Fellow Hunters,

I was wondering if anyone has any experience hunting the public lands in Nebraska's Upper Platte and Plains regions?
I've been going to Pine Ridge the last few years, but thought I might branch out a bit.
Not looking for GPS coordinates of the deer (unless you have them of course... ), just any experience you've had: good, bad, so-so.
Also, how receptive have you found the landowners to taking a doe on their land?
