I just found out former Detroit Tiger Great Al Kaline passed away at 85. Said He had a stroke awhile back. He came straight out of high school to the Tigers. and was the youngest player to win a Batting title. He had just over 3000 hits then retired. Saw Him in my first ever game against the Indians in Cleveland in about 1966 or 67 . Can't remember. Was in Cub Scouts and we all went up from Erie Pa. to Cleveland...Two great teams at the time..RIP AL Kaline...................BOB!
