Modest idea: I would hunt to a place with a lower success rates in exchange for a less crowding. I would swap some odds of success for having fewer people hunting the same space. Is this illogical? What's the threshold?

I am fortunate to hunt an area with a few other guys that have hunted it for over 30 years. Others hunt some but don't know how. We do ok. mtmuleyBeing around people sucks worse. Imo.

We talk about this in hunters Ed. The five stages of hunting. Most hunters experience the different stages, at their own pace. It is possible to be in different stages in a season, or even a day. I know I’ve left the house just wanting to shoot and shoot some more and an hour in I’m just sitting on a log watching birds and don’t care if I lift up my gun anymore. https://www.boone-crockett.org/five-stages-hunter-hunt-fair-chaseModest idea: I would hunt to a place with a lower success rates in exchange for a less crowding.
