Alternate tepee center pole

Looking to pick up a center pole for my Argali. It’s completely sold out so looking for an alternative. Has anyone used a pole from these guys ?

Couldn't you just use a trekking pole?

I have an absaroka and I use the pole from my black diamond megalite. Seams like any pole that has the proper length adjustment would work. I never have used trekking poles lashed together but I'd be afraid from a durability standpoint in adverse weather conditions. YMMV.

Which argali shelter do you have?

I have the 4p absaroka.

I have a pair of trekking poles and the insert to attachment them. Some of my trips are on a pack raft and I’d rather go with a dedicated center pole. It seems that company makes a robust version which is reassuring as most of use with the shelter will be in MT/AK.

GoHunt makes a universal center pole. I have not used it personally but it looks pretty robust.
