School me on Alaska draws, sorry if this has already been discussed. I’m planning on putting in for spring bear 2026, I understand you have to have a hunting license to apply, can I buy a small game license to apply to save some money or do you have to buy the regular license. Also anything else I need to know about the application period.

You have to have a big game license unless you are only putting in for emperor goose.
