Adventure in the BOB

You are an inspiration, as always. I wish you many more years in the backcountry. Any bears? Elk and deer?
Thank-you much! No wildlife as we are very loud and bear-aware constantly. Lots of elk sign but not real fresh. Fresh bear scat, but they likely left the area when hearing us. On one bushwack leg searching for the trail we did find a bear kill site, calf elk or deer, with merely bones and some hide remaining. We were relieved that it wasn't a fresh one as that could have meant trouble ... and we don't want to trouble any bears!

Boy, I too have made the trek through Wrong Creek, certainly is a hell hole. Great job and trip.
As a result of our visit and report to the USFS District office in Choteau, the trail notice for Trail #117 (Wrong Creek - Washboard Reef) reads "major downfall - inadvisable travel".
(Ripped pants and legs looking like a bear attack really expressed the trail conditions.)
