Couldn't say no to this. It fell into my lap.

Even though the teenage son had a nice sedan to drive, he is in love with this.

2002 Lexus LX470 (Toyota Land Cruiser)

309k miles. One family owned. A stack of maintenance records.

Front bearing races were trash from running dry.....ended up replacing both cv axles, new outer tie rods, new bearings and front brake pads.

Removed the soccer-mom running boards, flushed the AHC fluid, brake fluid, new fuel filter, cabin filter, rattle-canned the wheels, new Nokian ATs.

Spent a little more than expected, but we're under $5k all-in.

This thing is smooth!

It will make a great scratch-proof hunting rig.

Nice work! My dad has one of these and I keep telling him he better call me before he sells his, because they are nice machines and very roomy. congrats!

Had a Tahoe years ago…

Best scouting-type (4DR SUV) rig one could have I think.

Not so much for tossing a carcass into though. So I went back to a pickup
