A little confused - MT bison results

So this is what I saw when I logged into MT fish and wildlife today. Sorry if its a dumb question but Im still fairly new to applying out of state so I just want to clarify. Why does it say successful instead of pending? It seems to me Im not successful due to the fact that Im number 3008 and they could choose 54...Just seems odd they say "successful" if Im not or at least not yet. Maybe I'm missing something or looking into it to much....not sure.
