700 SPS to BDL

I’ve searched and confused myself. If I convert an SPS with blind magazine to a BDL hinged floor plate, do I need to purchase a spring, internal box and follower in addition to bottom metal? Or, can I use the spring, internal box and follower from the blind magazine? Is there anything else I need to purchase (obviously a stock with the correct cutout)?

The blind magazine can be used but you will need to cut a little off the bottom of it

The SPS comes with a hinged bottom and all of the parts that a BDL has. The ADL model has the blind magazine.

Yep it’ll work that way. Use a belt sander to shave a bit off the bottom of the mag box, testing fit as you go.

As stated you can sand the ADL box down. If you do you want to make sure it’s actually a little short. It should move a little bit when bolted together and not binding/pinched on the bottom metal. I’ve had to sand factory BDL boxes for clearance as well.
